Counterfeit imported skincare is the biggest problem in this market. We cannot fix that for the whole country, but we can be precise about where our own stock comes from — and show you the record rather than asking you to take our word for it.

What we record
Every consignment is logged against these fields. What we hold for a given product appears under Authenticity & sourcing on its product page.
Country of origin
We record where a product was made, and show it on every product page. Where the manufacturing country differs from the brand's home country, both are recorded.
Supplier and source
Each consignment is bought from a named supplier or authorised distributor. That name is recorded against the batch rather than described vaguely as “imported”.
Importer information
Where a product enters Bangladesh through a registered importer, we record the importer's details alongside the consignment.
Invoice verification
Every consignment is matched to its purchase invoice before it is listed. We keep an internal reference to that invoice against the batch.
Batch information
Batch codes and barcodes are recorded from the units received, so a product on the shelf can be traced back to the consignment it arrived in.
Packaging verification
On arrival we check seals, print quality, batch-code consistency between box and bottle, and unit weight — the things counterfeits most often get wrong.
What the badge does not mean
“Authenticity Checked” is a description of our record-keeping. It is not a certification, a laboratory test result, or an endorsement by the brand. We do not carry out chemical analysis, and we do not claim to. If a field is not shown on a product page, we do not hold it.
Authenticity FAQs
- Does “Authenticity Checked” mean the product is certified?
- No. It means we hold a sourcing record for that product and show you what is in it. It is our own record, not a certificate issued by a brand, a laboratory or a regulator.
- Why are some fields blank on a product page?
- Because we do not hold that information for that batch. We would rather leave a field empty than fill it with something we cannot stand behind.
- Can I see the batch code before I order?
- Where we have recorded one it appears under Authenticity & sourcing on the product page. Batch codes change between consignments, so what you receive may differ from what is shown.
- What if I think something I received is not genuine?
- Contact us with your order ID and photographs of the packaging and batch code. We will trace the consignment it came from and, if there is any doubt, take the product back.
- Why is imported skincare more expensive here?
- Import duty, shipping and the cost of buying through legitimate channels. A price far below the market is usually the clearest sign that something is wrong.
- Do you sell testers, samples or unsealed units?
- No. We list sealed retail units only.
